Video Work

Working in film and video is so very rewarding because of the sheer volume of people that can see your work. Not to mention that at the end of the job, you have a permanent record of it. I’ve enjoyed learning about this medium, and look forward to doing more in it!

 An Ode to Shakespeare’s Sonnet 100 – (Producer via Articulate Theatre Company) – Articulate members Eric Siegel, George Allison, Jim Biederman, Sebastian Montoya, Esteban Benito and ATC friend Andre Yoder-Harris came together to make this wonderful homage to Shakespeare’s sonnet.

Stay Healthy and Hepatitis Free – (Director, Co-Writer, Producer) – Doctors, patient panels and people on the street present important information about Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C regarding testing, symptoms and treatment. Technical information and personal stories mix to provide this information in a more interesting manner. ()

Articulate Theatre Company Video – (Director, Writer, Producer) – A fund raising video for Articulate Theatre Company.

Dog Eat Dog – (Set Decoration, Props) – Short film by Jonathan Zames, about the steps a hot dog salesman will take to beat out his rival, the Peanut Man, and climb to the top of his industry. ()

Honoring Lanford Wilson and Honoring Robert Patrick – (Producer)
Two 5 minute segments used by the NYIT Honorary Awards celebration to award the Artistic Achievement Award to Lanford Wilson and to Robert Patrick. Produced, created and oversaw the structure of the videos, organized interviews, brought together images, video and solicited quotes for use in the video.

The Thin Line – (Production Assistant) Two PSAs for MTV about digital abuse. Handled production assistant duties from organizing receipts, to proper paperwork for talent, to craft services, to clean up.

Early Mourning – (1st Assistant Director) Short film directed by Annetta Marion, about two young women coming to grips with their mother’s death. Scheduled, coordinated shoot, supervised crew, managed budget.

Acting School Segment – (Writer) Wrote outline for this 30 minute interview of acting teacher Terry Schreiber for inclusion in an acting career video for NY Castings. Worked with production company and talent to write structure and topics for interview. Used for video 6 Steps to a Successful Acting Career.
